Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) – Extension of Repayment Deadline & Partial Loan Forgiveness
As of September 14, 2023, the Federal government has decided to extend the repayment deadline for CEBA loans. Those who repay or seek to refinance their CEBA loans by January 18, 2024, will be eligible for partial loan forgiveness, receiving $10,000 of forgiveness for a $40,000 loan and $20,000 of forgiveness for a $60,000 loan.
